Suunto M-9 Compass update:

After the arrival last week of the Suunto M-9 Compass I quickly realised just how great an item it is, and just how well thought out it is overall. The money it costs is around £25-30 in the UK but it is featured packed. The dial is glow in the dark, there is a clear visible window for a heading on the side and its wrist mounted so you get the best of everything.

The only down point to the compass was that the strap that is supplied is really not a great example. The money is spent on getting the compass right and it works beautifully.

I opted for a bit of experimenting with a NATO 5 buckle strap in 20mm. This is a ballistic grade strap and costs around £10 on top of the price of the compass. As you can see, it really does benefit the compass and it will prevent loss. The only downside now is the additional cost to the product.

I was asked to source these for the store, and I have done so. I would offer them with the strap upgrade at an additional cost but it prices them out of the market. Perhaps the best plan is to gauge interest and then order some in to see how they do, or preorder basis only at the next restock.

If you would be interested in this item with or without a strap upgrade please email Sales@LawIndustries.co.uk and we can try to organise quantities from their.
