coffeentrees:

@stevewinterphoto on #assignment for @natgeo with Bateleur Eco Safaris in the Timbavati, South Africa. This image forms part of my worldwide #leopard story, showcasing the world’s most adaptable, but persecuted, big cat. From the wilds of #SouthAfrica to the heart of #Mumbai! Here, a leopard cub licks its lips as it walks past one of our camera traps. Leopard cubs will live with their mothers for approximatley two years before leading a solitary adult life. National Geographic launched the Big Cats Initiative to raise awareness and implement change to the dire situation facing big cats. Please visit CauseAnUproar.org, to find out more about Build a Boma or other ways to become involved to save big cats.
