Cooking at the allotment!
I am fortunate to have an allotment that is 4 times the size of all the other plots. This not only allows us to have a full size poly-tunnel and a few sheds, but we have plenty of different stoves!
I’m a big fan of the single and double rocket stoves but the Mud pizza oven is the best!
Built by my dad it’s design and operation is simple. All you do is build a small fire in the entrance and keep it burning for around an hour, then push the embers to the back.
Pizzas are cooked in around 5 min, we have even cooked burgers and a chicken like this!
All in a good day out and a different means of adventure and keeping skills current!
The Tilley hat in Multi-cam is doing fantastic to and kept the sun of my head and neck just fine.
