Emergency Handcuff Removal - Destruction Technique
Handcuff jammed? Key not working? Shim not working?
In an emergency you can cut through handcuffs using a hacksaw.
- Cut where the ratchet arm enters the handcuff (left).
- Do NOT cut near the hinge (right). This will not release your wrist.
Always have an escape plan.
