Advanced Lanyard:
I was asked by a client to make some special lanyards. They had to be breakaway style, but had to have certain features within them. So here is a closer look.
The cord is a high end technical cord with a breaking strain of 400Ibs. The buckles are break away for safety, but the cord can be unlooped from them for either repairs or to put the cord to its other ‘uses’. There are no knots, only the correct terminals for creating the loops in the cord, and then doubled for strength. Once the loop is removed from the buckle you have a two finger hole at either end making it a perfect cord for ‘compliance’ or for other ‘Uses’. It can even be used for a bow drill for firelighting if you get stuck!
These can be made to order at any length you require for neck lanyards for our Mini SERE Pouch or the Covert Wallet or for your ID, keys etc. The ULTIMATE accessory to accompany your gear. Multi use and a perfect essential using the finest materials.
